Day 6: someone who fascinates you and why?
Hello everyone, I've been really trying to keep track of my posting challenge. It's been 2 days since my last post. I'm terribly sorry for that. Whatever it is, we will proceed with today's challenge which is someone who fascinates you and why? For this post, I'll not be specific just to ensure no one will be taken aback however, someone who fascinates me I would say SOME of my medical lecturers. One of the lecturers manage to get two membership from MRCP and MRCEM. How incredible was that. There is also one lecturer whom I adore how she does her physical examination. They are very fast and systematic. It's easily applicable by her students as well. Also this another lecturer whom I can say the god of medicine. I was really fascinate by how a one sided defect (Left side defect) can cause right sided defect and also vice versa. What fascinates me most is that how the shunt problems lead to eisenmenger syndrome. How rare it is to learn such disease on real patients and that lucky day this patient came with background history of congenital heart disease and the dr immediately after physical examination taught us that the patient could be having eisenmenger syndrome. When reading books, all I can understand that it was heart defect due to prolong one sided defect which leads to other side to be defect as well but this dr explains the hows and why it happen and it was all logic. I was like, why I couldn't think of that earlier
